MANUFACTURING / MARKETING & INSTALLATION OF CONICAL BAFFLE

INTRODUCTION & SCOPE 

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL) is the largest integrated company operating in northern part of Pakistan, engaged in transportation of gas from sources to consumers. Gap between demand and supply of natural gas is rising mainly because of limited resources and high consumption, particularly in the winter season. It has been observed that in winter season gas demand will increase manifold. Inefficient water geyser is one of the reasons for high gas demand especially in the winters. SNGPL feels that precious gas can be conserved / saved by retrofitting of existing water geysers.

SNGPL, in its efforts to serve its consumers better and reduce their gas bills in winters, has designed / developed a conical baffle to be inserted in flue gas pipe of geysers, which will reduce gas consumption upto 25%. SNGPL intends to pre-qualify firms those who have proven track record/experience of establishing a mechanism of manufacturing / marketing and installation of requisite conical baffles at the door step of consumers.

PREQUALIFICATION APPLICATIONS
The firm applying for manufacturing / marketing and installation of conical baffle should provide following information in its prequalification proposal.

1     Corporate Information     The application is required to provide corporate information of the company including following

    Name of the Company

    Legal Status

    Authorized Contact Person

    Contact details including mailing address, telephone no, fax no, email address.

2     Personal     The applicant is required to provide details of the personnel working with them on full time basis.

3     Methodology     Applicants are required to provide details of the methodology; they wish to apply for manufacturing, marketing, installation of conical baffles & its subsequent recovery of sales proceed from consumers. Applicants should also suggest minimum requirement of equipment, manpower to be deployed per team for installation of cones at the consumer’s site and possible no of cones to be installed in a day of eight hours shift operation.

4     Financial     Applicants are required to provide information, establishing financial soundness of the company to carry out proposed work.

5     Deployment of resources     Applicants are required to provide details of manufacturing facilities, equipments, logistic support and manpower availability with them.
